Creation

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) was created to hear matters and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees concerning appeals of zoning interpretations and applications for variances from Chapter 30 (Zoning) of the Village’s Municipal Code.  

Membership

The ZBA consists of 7 appointed volunteers that live in the Village of Brookfield.  Members have staggered 5-year terms.  Any resident interested in serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals should send a cover letter and resume to the Village President.   

Meetings

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on an as-needed basis at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursdays of each month at Edward Barcal Hall, Village Hall.
