Applications for the Independence Day Parade have recently been sent out to last yearŐs participants. Whether you are an annual member of the Brookfield parade or considering marching in it for the first time, we would love to have you join up. The 2008 Battle of the Bands will be held in Kiwanis Park on Sunday, May 18, from noon to 6 p.m. Applications are now available in the Recreation Department office and at A Sound Education or can be downloaded here.
All applications must be turned in by March 31 to be considered for the competition. Only eight bands will be selected to perform at the event on May 18.
Competition is open to all high school students in Brookfield and some surrounding communities. Please see application for complete rules and eligibility requirements.
