Beautification Commission

The Beautification Commission (BBC) aspires to enhance the scenic environment of the village through community involvement and raising environmental awareness. The commission will strive to encourage a sense of responsibility among Brookfield residents to facilitate the creation of a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing community.

Meetings are held at 6:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Edward Barcal Hall Board Room in Village Hall 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, IL 60513. Please check the “calendar” page of the Village website to see scheduled meetings and cancellations.

Members

The Beautification Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Village President. Commissioners must reside in the Village of Brookfield. The are volunteers that serve staggered 3-year terms. Any resident interested in serving on the commission should send a cover letter and resume to the Village President.
